a lil change up from the typical a chickpea hummus :) Hummus is a STAPLE! It’s so versatile and is perfect for veggies, chips, sides, wraps, lunch/dinner bowls…. You just can’t go wrong:)
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of dried red lentils
- Juice of 1/2 a large lemon
- Zest of a lemon
- 2 tbsp of tahini
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- 1 tsp of paprika
- 2 cloves of minced garlic
- salt and pepper
Method: 1. boil/ prepare red lentils according to package instructions, then allow to cool 2. add all the ingredients to blender/ food processor and blend until creamy 3. transfer to a bowl/ storage container and dig in!
