Copycat PB REESE'S EGGS

so so good :) In honor of easter I simply could not resist making one of my FAV chocolate. devour a batch of these throughout a busy week leading up to MANY final papers and reports. So worth the make! I love being able to make goodies like this at home where I know all the ingredients being used to avoid all the unnecessary nasties. I dare you to give them a shot!

Ingredients:

5 tbsp of creamy peanut butter

2 tbsp of maple syrup

1 tbsp of coconut oil

A pinch of salt

A splash of vanilla

3 tbsp of coconut flour (can sub for almond/oat flour)

1/2 cup of chocolate chunks/chips

1/2 tsp of coconut oil

Method:

  1. In a medium bowl mix together your peanut butter, maple syrup, coconut oil, salt, vanilla and coconut flour until thoroughly combined

  2. Scoop tbsp portions of the batter and form into an oval shape and then plan on a lines tray and put in the freezer for 20 minutes

  3. Melt your coconut oil and chocolate in the microwave in 20 sec increments to ensure you don't burn it

  4. Dunk the pb ovals into the chocolate mixture and place back on lined tray, repeat for remaining ovals

  5. Place in the fridge to set and then dig in :) You should store these bad boys in the fridge or freezer
